Nesticle v.0.34
As I mentioned, emulation makes your computer think that it's something else. Now I don't want to give a detailed description, but emulation basically takes what's on a cartridge, saves it as a special file, and an emulator takes that file and runs it.
To start with, you need an emulator. The best that I've found is NESticle, by Bloddlust Software. I'm not sure if I can legally put that on here, but if I can't, let me know and I'll take it off.

Roms are the files that are taken off the nintendo cartridge. Roms are usually saved as *.NES files, which is what NESticle needs anyways.
